Here's what astronaut Julie Payette served on the International Space Station, according to the Globe and Mail: Albertan beef jerky, BC salmon pâté, Ontario fruit bars, maple leaf cookies, and of course, that colourful Canadian chocolate that leaves coloured stains on your palms, Smarties. I suppose they couldn't bring anything perishable, but I can't decide: yummy or pathetic?
